Job Title: Sales Representative for Pride Town Connect
Job Type: Part Time, 1099 Independent contractor position. Commission-Based (35% Commission per Sale)

Our mission is to create safe spaces and promote equality through fostering connections between LGBTQ+ individuals and businesses.
Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, reaching out to, and securing LGBTQ+ friendly businesses to join the Pride Town Connect directory. Your focus will be on finding your own leads, booking appointments and closing sales with businesses that align with our mission. You will be expected to secure sales of at least $2,500 per week. There is no set schedule, and all leads will be generated to our “list your business page.” Commission payments are paid out every 2 weeks. There are no PTO or health benefits for this role. It is classified as a part time role. This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Compensation is paid without tax withholding.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify LGBTQ+ friendly businesses and potential leads through research and networking.
• Reach out to leads via phone calls, emails, and in-person visits to introduce Pride Town Connect.
• Effectively communicate the benefits of listing on Pride Town Connect, including increased visibility and support for the LGBTQ+ community.
• Schedule and secure appointments with business owners to finalize directory listings.
• Maintain records of outreach efforts, appointments, and successful sales.
• Collaborate with the team to share insights and improve sales strategies.
Qualifications:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience in sales, customer service, or a related field.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently to find your own LGBTQ+ friendly business leads to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Passion for supporting the LGBTQ+ community and promoting equality.
• Familiarity with LGBTQ+-friendly businesses is a plus.
What We Offer:
• A competitive 35% commission on all successful sales. This is a 1099 independent position. Compensation is paid without tax withholding.
• Flexibility to manage your own schedule and work independently. You can work as many hours or as little hours per week, requiring for you to maintain the $2,500 weekly quota.
